Are you ready to meet real reideer, face to nose and maybe even ride one.
So do you love animals and like to see a reindeer, because this is not
any elk or caribo these animals are the santa's finest reindeer. They are
friendly and furry and can't wait to meet you. There are also some huskies
at the same farm with reindeer waiting to take you for a sleigh ride.
Our Reindeer and Husky safari includes:
4-5 hours 42 Km snowmobile ride.
We drive the snowmobiles to a reindeer and husky farm, where a farmer is waiting
for us, He will teach us about reindeer farming. At the farm we will ride reindeer
and huskies. At the break we will have coffee and hot juice.
- Lenght of the safari is 4-5 hours or 42 km
Available: on Wednesdays 10:00, larger groups special arrangement and other weekdays available.
the program includes: We'll cather around a fire pit with
coffee brewing and sausages cooking in the fire. In steps
a wise Shamaan of Lapland. He has travelled over the mountains
and snow fields. Shamaan will perform a reindeer catle mark
on all the visitors as of they were part of the larger stock
of reindeer owned by a respected reindeer farmer of Pyha-Kallio.
All the new reindeers(the visitors) will receive a new reindeer
name and a marking amulet as to remind them of the visit
of wise Shamaan.

Season starts as soon as we get enough snow to open the trails, usually
in the beginning of December and will end when the snow melts off the trails,
usually sometime in April.

This season has been a great success so far. We have not felt the effect of the economy slowdown.
So if you are looking for a place to get away and enjoy an action filled relaxing vacation, this is the place.
The new season was officially started today with our 2 hour safari.
We had plenty of snow for a great ride through the woods and trails.
What a another great season again, this was the best season yet.
Thanks to our customers, staff and everyone involved.
Sinikka and Raimo have really created something special for all of us.
Season opened successfully. We have plenty of snow and reservations.
Snowmobile trails and ski slopes are open. All services are open.
Finally we have 20cm snow on the ground, so hopefully we will be driving
withing 2 weeks.
While we are waiting for the first snow fall, the reservations have
started to come in for safaris and rentals. Make sure you get your a
reservation in on time, so the date(s) will be still available.
We have started prepairing for the next season and cant wait until
the
first
snow :). Should not be more than 5 months, until the season starts.
